New measures targeting health and community services have been allocated in this week’s Federal Budget announcement.
However, questions remain on how much of it will reach Aboriginal communities. VACCHO has been calling for stronger investment in culturally safe care from aged care and mental health to chronic disease prevention and NDIS access.
The organisation is now assessing whether this budget delivers the support First Nations communities need.
