The Diversity Forum, organised by Canberra Multicultural Service (FM 91.1) is a two- day free leadership and training event for (you guessed it!) young people in Canberra; particularly for those who are interested in media careers and want to be content creators.

While the focus is on culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, the event is open to anyone looking to upskill their media game, including school, college and university students.

The event will run on the 17th and 18th June, from 9 am- 4:30 pm.

Catering will be provided.

A full program will be sent closer to the event. The event is funded by Community Services Directorate (ACT Government) and ActewAGL.

What can you expect:

  • Podcasting and social media content creation training provided by Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO)
  • Panels with other media professionals and content creators sharing their media journeys.
  • Brainstorming and funding sessions

  • This event is for anyone under the age of 35
  • You must in Canberra at the time of the event
