Farsi Program
Farsi Persian Radio Program is a cultural broadcast that gives a voice to the local Iranian community, while also serving Tajik and Afghan audiences. On air for three hours each week, the program offers dedicated segments for children, youth, women, and older community members.
The content spans a wide range of topics, including current affairs from Iran, Australia, and the local community; literature; festivities and rituals; languages and dialects; history; religion and beliefs; food; psychology; and folklore. Listeners can also enjoy a rich variety of music—from classical and opera to folk and pop—as well as introductions to books, films, music, and theatre events.
Broadcasting since September 1994 in the ACT, the program continues to celebrate culture, share knowledge, and connect communities.
